Bob Fulton is set to step down as NSW's State of Origin selection adviser.

The rugby league Immortal will tell coach Laurie Daley of his decision on Sunday ahead of Monday's team naming for the final game of the series on July 13, according to News Corp Australia.

Fulton, who has assisted the past three Blues coaches in Daley, Ricky Stuart and Craig Bellamy, is reportedly going to be promoted from a part-time consultant to head of football at NRL club Manly.
