Queensland coach Kevin Walters wants Wade Graham to line up for NSW in next week's State of Origin II.

Graham is facing a one-match ban after being charged with a grade one high tackle during Monday night's NRL clash between Cronulla and North Queensland.

Walters says it would be harsh for the back-rower to miss his Origin debut and personally is hoping Graham can beat the charge at the judiciary on Wednesday.
